The Wood County Elderly and Disabled Transportation program provides rides to persons over the age of 55, and people who have a disability that prevents them from driving. Rides are provided for shopping, to and from medical appointments or to other locations as needed.

We are proud to offer Door-To-Door Service to our riders. This service includes carrying parcels to the first entryway, when needed. Please call with your transportation request by 12 noon, Monday through Friday, the day before you need your ride to allow us time to schedule your service.

Marshfield Bus Transportation

In Marshfield, bus transportation is provided Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift.

Wisconsin Rapids Bus Transportation

In Wisconsin Rapids and Port Edwards, bus transportation is provided Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Nekoosa and surrounding areas is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-12:30p.m. The bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift.

Please call 715-421-8989 or 715-389-0230 to discuss the cost of your transportation needs. Please note, FREE rides are available for Marshfield riders if they shop at Festival Food or Pick 'n Save. For Wisconsin Rapids, there are FREE rides available if someone shops at West Grand IGA or Baker Street IGA. These stores generously pay the cost of the fare for individuals who shop at their locations.
